Welcome to Wolfbusters
Come join us for the most unique and exciting hunting experiences in the USA.
Only in a few areas of Alaska can you hunt wolves from snowmobiles!!!!!
If you think racing motocross, four wheelers, skidoos, boats, or snowmobiles is fun you are in
for the time of your life. Imagine racing across the snow covered tundra following a pack of
fleeing wolves. You close to within a few feet, slam on the brakes, pull out a .22 semi auto
mag rifle, and start shooting. Wolves are going in every direction. You slap another clip into
the rifle, throw it over your shoulder and the race is on again.
This is not a hunt for wimps or whiners. It is a very physical, challenging, and is not without
danger. Most of the time when you get on tracks the wolves will win by outsmarting you. Wolves
are the most intelligent and cunning big game animal on the North American continent. They an
run 35 miles per hour on bare ground for hours at a time. How do they do it? They are wolves!
Mature males often weigh over 200 pounds and stretch up to 8 feet from the tip of their note to
the tip of their tail. A big male can place his paws on your shoulders and stare straight into your
eyes. Packs of them may occasionally contain up to 30 animals. There is no limit on wolves
here. Their population is exploding. Wolves are devastating the moose and caribou populations
on which the Native Alaskan people depend for food. The Alaska Fish and Game is allowing
this type of hunting until the wolf population is back in balance. Then it will end. If you want to
experience this unique hunt, the time to book is now. Come join us as we seek to restore a
proper balance of wolves within the ecosystem.
Wolves are 8 days / 7 nights and usually take place from December through March.
