Travel it Koliganek requires 3 flights. 1. Your home to Anchorage 2. Anchorage to Dillingham 3. Dillingham to Koliganek We recommend you fly to Anchorage using Alaska Airlines www.alaskaair.com. It is best to arrive in Anchorage just after midnight to allow for delays. No one will bother you if you sack out on the floor for a few hours sleep. Be sure to bring and set an alarm clock. Remember to reset the clock to reflect the correct time. Pennair is owned by Alaska Airlines and will forward your luggage straight thru to Dillingham. You can book that connecting flight on www.alaskaair.com. Their first flight to Dillingham usually leaves Anchorage at 8:15am and arrives in Dillingham at 9:45am. Once you arrive in Dillingham ask the desk clerk to call Shannon Air (907) 842-2735 and request a shuttle to their private airport which is located about 5 minutes away. Shannon Air will fly you to Koliganek or wherever Skin is basing his operation. The 2007 price for the flight is $90 each way. Shannon Air accepts cash, VISA and MasterCard. You can expect to arrive in Koliganek about noon. Someone will be there to greet and take you to the house. |
