Itinerary |
Day one Someone will be waiting at the airstrip in Koliganek. You will be made comfortable and fed. Next comes outfitting with cold weather boots, snow suit, goggles and gloves. Moving outside you will be checking the sights on your firearm or the one we supply. Most of the balance of the day will be devoted to training and practice on snowmobiles. You will also be given instruction on the proper procedures to safely harvest wolves. A good nights rest will be welcome. Day two to seven Hunt. If the weather turns foul, pursuit of wolves is dangerous. You may rest, trap and/or ice fish for world class lake trout. All tackle and trapping supplies and training are provided. Should you choose to trap and harvest a fox or wolverine, you may keep one of each in our base price. Extra fox pelts are $50 each and wolverine are $200 if you make the set. All pelts are skinned, fleshed, and stretched in our base price. Day eight After packing and securing pelt shipping permits, you will be transported to the airport to fly home. |
